The RSI oscillates between zero and 100 and is commonly used to indicate temporary overbought or oversold conditions in a market. Overbought conditions are typically defined as RSI values above 70, while oversold conditions are defined as values below 30. However, these values can be adjusted to suit specific needs and markets. For example, some traders may use 80 as the overbought line in a strong uptrend, or 20 as the oversold line in a strong downtrend.
